The business is operated by Chris Brooks as a sole practitioner
working from home to keep his costs down and therefore his prices
reasonable.
Chris worked for Barclays Bank for 26 years and in the period
1994 - 2000 he was a small Business Manager. During this time
he gained a great insight into how small businesses operate
and the problems their owners face.He discovered that many small
business owners were unhappy with their accountants either because
of the level of fees or the fact that the accountant never explained
what the accounts meant. So when the bank shed 6,000 jobs in
1999 / 2000 Chris left and set up his own business to provide
the help and service wanted by small businesses at a reasonable
price.
| Chris is a Certified Bookkeeper authorised to work in public practice by The Institute of Certified Book-keepers.
